We establish our health clinics in locations where people otherwise have no access to healthcare, combining local knowledge with government and medical expertise to deliver holistic patient care.

At Jericho Road, there are no boundaries. We establish our health clinics in locations where people otherwise have no access to health care

Our global clinics are inspired by individuals deeply connected to their communities who feel a compelling call to bring healthcare to their home countries. With their vision and our support, we have established five community health clinics across three countries since 2015.

We break down barriers to healthcare by strategically placing clinics in underserved areas. Additionally, we deploy mobile clinics to reach even the most remote locations.

Read Mohameds Story

Mohamed is a 17-year-old boy in Sierra Leone. He came to our Adama Martha Memorial Community Health Center (AMMCHC) with a classic case of appendicitis and malaria. Our staff was able to treat him with ease, providing surgery at the operating room right at AMMCHC, the only operating room within hours of the remote Kono district. Before AMMCHC existed, Mohamed would’ve been forced to travel great distances to seek care, or go untreated based on lack of surgical access for an otherwise routine treatment.

Read Jean's Story

Jean was frequently admitted to the Jericho Road Community Health Center in Goma, Congo for uncontrolled Type 1 Diabetes. His visits were often preventable given he had access to insulin, which he had a hard time affording. Thanks to one of the nurses from the Jericho Road team, Angela, Jean was hired at the health clinic, ensuring he has the means to afford his life-saving medicine and is at the health clinic to receive it. Now, Jean’s diabetes is stable, and his experience working at the health clinic is preparing him to further his career skills for the future.

Read Rama's Story

Rama receives ongoing care from our health clinic in Nepal. He began visiting the Health Center in Hagam when the multi-hour trip to Kathmandu became too difficult for the regular visits he required. Having nearby access to healthcare is important for Rama, as he has a complex case and his life beyond healthcare is also unstable after he and his family of five lost their home in a large earthquake. Now, Rama can access a health clinic close to his village, allowing him to receive regular treatment vital to his well-being and focus more on rehabilitation for himself and his family.
